I wonder how many hungy people could be fed if the Democrats and Republicans took even 60% of the money wasted on their National Conventions and put it to better use.
Speeches and red, white & blue colored confetti don’t make someone a good leader. Speeches are just words woven together by a gifted writer and read enthusiastically. Confetti is just a mess that, once the speeches are over and the crowd leaves, someone making minimum wage will have to sweep up. I’d like to see Kerry or Bush walk off stage, roll up their sleeves, pick up a broom and spend their evening cleaning up some of the mess.
