Yesterday afternoon I had an hour to kill before I had to go pick up Bailey from preschool, so I decided to watch the “Convention Preview” of the RNC on CSPAN. When I started watching CSPAN did the time honored trick of keeping viewers on the edge of their seats with the excitement of giving the water boy a camera and a badge and making him walk around Madison Square Gardens filming all the silly little Replublicans.
The thing that made me laugh was that, as water boy was wandering around bumping into peoples’ shoulders and making them dodge out of the way, he/she/it filmed people filing through security and entering the pavillion. The live band they had performing outside of The Square was singing, quite loudly, “Chain of Fools”.
Irony rules!
