This is one of those days where you want to call for a “do-over”
Prince Harry apologises for Nazi fancy dress
Britain’s Prince Harry has apologised for wearing a Nazi soldier’s uniform to a fancy dress party.
The apology came after a photo of Prince Harry wearing the uniform - with an armband showing a swastika, the emblem of the Nazi Party - was splashed on the front page of the Sun newspaper.
A spokeswoman for the Royal family has read out a statement of apology from the Prince, the younger son of Britain’s Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana.
“I am very sorry if I caused any offence or embarrassment to anyone,” Prince Harry said in the statement.
“It was a poor choice of costume and I apologise.”
Doug Henderson, a British Labour MP and a former armed forces minister, says Prince Harry should not now be allowed to become a British Army officer.
He says the Prince should withdraw his application to the Army officer training school of Sandhurst.
“After the revelations this evening I don’t think this young man is suitable for Sandhurst,” Mr Henderson said.
“If it was anyone else the application wouldn’t be considered. It should be withdrawn immediately,” he said.

You don’t seriously give a hoot about British royalty, do you? Sometimes I’m very dissapointed in you, Daniel.
