As most of you know, I’m a Tampa Bay Bucs fan. Keli, however, is a Buffalo Bills fan. Each season we’ve said we’ll make a little wager to see which of our teams has the better record at the end of the season. Most years we forget about it until the season has already started. But this year, we actually agreed on a bet and the season is off well.
Particularly well since, in a rare matchup, both our teams played against each other yesterday afternoon/morning. My team prevailed over the Bills by a final score of 19-3; so far the Bucs are 2-0 and the Bills are 1-1. Bragging rights have been established as my team bested hers in a test of skill, agility and endurance.
Actually, it the sun was probably in the faces of the Bills’ players as my Bucs really have not performed well since their Super Bowl win. In anycase, prepare for a season of pissing and moaning as my Bucs let me down yet again. In an act of defiance, I will prepare the sacrificial white spotless lamb and shake the lucky chicken bones prior to each game.
A NOTE TO 49ERS FANS: What the hell happened?! 42-3?! Ouch!!!
