I’m playing around with an RSS aggregator I found for WordPress that lets me snag the up-to-date RSS feed from the Department of Defense so that the list of U.S. soldiers KIA will be current.
Some see this as morbid. I chose to display that after being frusterated with those names being buried in the news paper. After talking to a buddy of mine who got back from being a soldier in Iraq himself, it was even more important to me. Sort of a way to pay homage to him and all his buddies - even the lost ones.
Until I work out the kinks, it will look funky for now, but it’s functional.
