Stupid lack of auto-save function

So, I spent about a half hour writing up a post about how I have a problem when it comes to finishing one book at a time, and end up beginning several at a time, thus taking about 4 months to finish a single novel.

Then I accidentally clicked (my wireless mouse tends to make the pointer wander about the screen - so when I click where I left the pointer, it is sometimes no longer where I left it) on the “Refresh” button. That post is gone.

Bah, humbug!

The back button has saved me a couple of times but I don’t think it can save a “refresh”… sorry it sucks. There might be a pluggin that does it. I have lost a couple of post in the past toon

Shouldn’t be hard to write an auto-save plugin. Are you sure no one’s done so?

In all fairness I haven’t looked as it only comes to mind when I screw myself in such a manner =\
