Site update

I decided to admit the fact that not everyone likes my choice of the Kiwi theme. As such, I installed the newest version of the WordPress Theme Switcher I could find (last modified to work with WP 1.3). it’s lame in that it was written to look for a file in the that version of WP. So when you go to use it, you’ll see what I’m talkin about. However, the themes you can choose from are just a few that were designed for WP 2.0 that I uploaded. I’ll work on customizing each of them over the next couple of weeks as I have time.

Next on my to do list: Find a functional recent comments plug-in for WP 2.0. if you know of one that actually works (none of the ones I’ve tested work properly) let me know!

I switched it and it seemed to work after the apache redirect.

I switched to one, and all of the comment links show up as “No comments”

Also, I can’t switch back, because there’s no theme swithcher on this page.

I had to manually add the theme switcher code to the other templates. Unfortunately, I had to stop because Mason was getting into stuff.

I think I only have one or two templates left to put the code on. I’ll do that this afternoon.

As far as the “no comments” thing, I noticed that as being a problem with WordPress 2.0 when you switch themes. It seems fine at first until you change themes. Then, even if you switch back to your original theme, the problem lingers. I’ve posted about it on the WP forums and haven’t received a good response with a solution yet.

Okay, the theme switcher code has been added to the other templates.
