Many in the WordPress community have noticed that when one upgraded to WordPress 2.0, one of the side-effects, was that the comment counter on new posts (and some existing posts) would be constantly set to “0″. I have found a fix for this, quite by mistake I must admit:
If you’re using Spam Karma2, download and apply the updated files.
Then once a new comment is left on a post, the comment counter will be correctly updated when the main page is refreshed.
Just thought others may like to know.
