Can anybody tell me what ‘deuce’ means when Stewie Griffin (from The Family Guy) says ‘What the deuce?’

I have no freaking clue, and neither does anybody I ask.

When you think of the concept, or even just the word, ‘Peace’ what’s the first image or thought that comes to mind?

For me, the first thing that comes to mind is an image of a Buddhist monk deep in meditation. To me, that’s the epitome of serenity, peace and calm.

Logtar was kind enough to notice that I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately. Not for any real reason other than lack of time. Keli’s been busy with study groups, PTA meetings, etc lately at nights and by the time the kids are in bed I simply don’t have the energy to sit down and blog anything worth reading.

It’s not for lack of things to rant and rave about, by any means. Work has been crazy too so while I’m not at work my mind is often preoccupied with the days news, or the next days news. The Winter Olympics are finally over and now baseball is gearing up. I’ve also been trying to use a few minutes of free time here and there to keep reading Finding Darwin’s God. The book is difficult to read in chunks of a few pages at a time so I end up re-reading much of what I’ve just read to get caught up to where I left off. I’ve also been more focused on exercising and training for my triathlon in September. Head over to my Triathlon page to find out more about that.

Rest assured, I’m still here. I haven’t given up on my blog and I will hopefully have time this weekend to post stuff.
