Garfield minus Garfield

by Daniel on April 23rd, 2008

This page is definitely in my top 20 favorite web sites. A guy takes Garfield comic strips, essentially photoshops out Garfield, and what’s left is rather depressing, yet hilarious:

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb.

Go check it out!

  1. That is hilarious! Who knew that it was possible for Jon Arbuckle to look like more of a loser?!?

  2. I’ve found myself mentally removing that stupid cat from the comics page ever since finding out about garfield minus garfield. It’s much more interesting that way.
