Your sense of family will kick in as soon as you know there is a new life coming in to join. And now the void is just as big as the one left by a person you actually get to meet. Some people do not understand the complexity of the situation, it sometimes seems like the only people that can truly understand are those that are going through it... I know you are not asking for this, but I am proud that you have been there for your sister to help her through this, along with supporting the rest of your family. That is a task that not everyone is equipped to do.
