I’m calling it; Barack Obama has just won the election and will be the next president of the United States. Know why?

Because his campaign just launched the “Obama-Biden Tax Calculator“:

    Well, since you don’t seem to think that the thousands of people being illegally purged from the rolls in states like Nevada, Colorado, Ohio, Florida, and Virginia combined will combine with inexplicable voting machine mishaps and a mass media willing to buy in on that “Bradley Effect” nonsense to make a McCain victory sound somehow plausible… (whew!) How ’bout we arrange some victory parties for November 5th?

    That’s some calculator. Can we hold him to the formula if he gets into office? Anybody done one on McCain to see what he claims we would save in taxes?

    Funny thing about tax proposals is that they have to get through the congress. Whatever McCain an Obama are proposing has to go through the whole process, has to be exposed to all the crazies in the House of Representatives and be forged into something that can squeak through the Senate before anything can actually happen.

    @Burrowowl: See, the thing is, people won’t think about the process to actually have tax proposals become a reality.

    Once people see this thing, find out how much they could theoretically get, that’ll be all that’s needed.
