The people that were putting it together didn't find me there, so I never even knew it was happening till several months too late. I, too, have been catching up with old classmates through the usual mediums and chat with my wife (although she and I had to chat by carrier pigeon. Class of 2000? When did I get that old?) But I still think that there's no substitute for being in the company of people you haven't seen for a while. I recently signed up with facebook (I know, took me long enough, right?). All of these people who I wouldn't be caught dead with in high school are suddenly my "friends". The best part is seeing that they all still hang out with each other, having drinking parties in some cabin northern Michigan...just like they did in high school.
