So the big hub-bub of in the Jesus Phone (aka: iPhone) community recently has been the release of a Skype VoIP application.
This brings up two points:
- How freaking stupid is to be eagerly awaiting the release of an application that lets you talk on the phone ON YOUR FREAKING PHONE?!
- That being said, I am looking forward to trying this new Skype application out. Why, you ask? Because my reception in our new apartment is full of fail, but my wifi is quite good. So having a program that will let me talk over my wireless internet will actually be a useful thing.
As Xibit might have once said, “Yo Dawg, I heard you like phones, so I put a phone in your phone so you can talk on the phone while you talk on your phone!”
Cheaper international calls for one, free calls to other users… I am all over this! And it is also going to be available for my crackberry

Eh, it still seems silly to me but you and Logtar do have arguments for it’s worth. If you do get it, I expect a pretty thorough review.
I am more interested on reading a couple of in depth reviews for the Kindle viewer for iPhone. A KC tweeter said it was cool and that he downloaded a couple books, but that doesn’t tell me much.
