'I Tried To Be Chill But You're So Hot That I Melted'
Today is the 11-year anniversary of the sunny spring day that Keli and I spent the afternoon at the Coddingtown Cinemas watching “Good Will Hunting” only to realize that we were both absolutely crazy about each other.
Since then we’ve both learned to drive and gotten our licenses; traveled across the country together; we’ve experienced the unbelievable highs and crushing lows of learning how to be parents to two gorgeous kids; we’ve held each other when the tears seemed like they would never let up and we’ve laughed together so hard our sides ached more times than I can count; and we’ve grown immeasurably as individuals without growing way from each other.
It seems strangely fitting that this week in particular, we found out that we are having another baby. That’s right: Keli is pregnant with our third child.
We do not yet know what the due date is, how far along she is, whether or not we’ll choose to find out the sex of the baby or anything else.
What we do know is that, to be completely honest, we’re both a little freaked out about this very unexpected surprise but as each day arrives we are getting more excited.
And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to Google for some Urologists who have earned merit badges in knot tying.
