Run-In With a Wee Sharks Fan Part 2

Last spring I briefly wrote about a Wee Sharks Fan that heckled me for wearing my Chicago Blackhawks jersey, while waiting for my daughter’s school line to head into class.

As it turns out, Wee Sharks Fan is in my daughter’s class this year… something I realized when, standing with my daughter in line before class started and wearing the same Blackhawks jersey, he said,

“Are you a Blackhawks fan?”

“Of course! Haven’t we been over this before?”

“The Blackhawks are lame.”

“Even though the Sharks have lost more games this season so far than the Blackhawks…?*”

“Oh….”

Dan 2, Wee Sharks Fan 0.

*Note: As of this morning, the San Jose Sharks are 7-4-1 (8th in the league) and the Chicago Blackhawks are 7-3-1 (7th in the league).

@Keli – Yeah, the Rangers sure showed their stuff when San Jose whipped them like a rented mule on their own ice. Losing by four goals is the best way to demonstrate league dominance, right?

@Dan – Funny, the Blackhawks have 15 points and so do the Sharks. That said, I’m thinking of getting my twin nephews a pair of Blackhawks jerseys for their birthday, what with their last name being Kane.

So how’d the season turn out for wee sharks fan? Oh yeah, won the Western Conference. The Rangers? I think they’re set for golfing.
