Signs

I found this video in a post over on Mashable today (“The 10 Most Innovative Viral Video Ads of 2009“). I hadn’t heard of the video before and so it was a nice suprise when I watched it and saw how good it was. It’s about 12 minutes long but well worth watching. “Signs” is right up there with the “Free Hugs” video that went around a while back.

Videos like “Signs” always impress me because I’m amazed that people can do so much with such a small budget, a camera, and a few friends. A video like this that very simply conveys a feeling we all have – the desire to be needed – stands out far apart from the usual web video of dumb kids doing stupid things for a “thumbs up” web site rating.
