'Survival Is My Victory'

I believe that music is the only true, universal language. More so than love. No matter where you go, which culture you’re immersed in or who you surround yourself with, music is there. During times when it seems like a situation is completely empty of any love, friendship or compassion, there can be music. Often times it’s in your head: a song you heard in the morning, something your parents used to sing to you when you were a child, or maybe a song that always reminds you of a memorable moment in your life.
